BREAKING NEWS: George Pataki at state Repub. convention

BREAKING NEWS: New York Governor and potential 2008 presidential candidate George Pataki is scheduled to speak at the Republican State Convention next Saturday, April 29 at Ruddertowne in Dewey Beach.

PRESS ADVISORY: New York Gov. George Pataki to Address Delegates to 2006 Delaware Republican State Convention on April 29.

WILMINGTON, DEL. --- New York Governor George Pataki will be the keynote speaker at the Delaware Republican State Convention on Saturday, April 29, at the Ruddertowne Complex in Dewey. The media is invited to cover this event.

In addition to the Convention on Saturday, the Delaware GOP will hold its traditional Convention Dinner on Friday, April 28 beginning at 7:00 PM. The dinner will feature a presentation by Ferris W. Wharton, Republican candidate for Attorney General.

Saturday’s Convention will begin at 9:00 AM and will feature an address by Gov. Pataki and the endorsement by delegates of Republican candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and State Auditor.

You get who you can get, I guess. Maybe Pataki got the news that the only people who win DE GOP Presidential primaries are the candidates who come to Delaware. (See Bush, GW and Forbes, Steve) With only about 30,000 people usually voting in the primary, it's totally worth his while to come do this.
